Town of Mooresville Public Utilities

The Public Utilities Division provides operations and maintenance of more than 500 miles of water and sewer lines serving over 13,5000 homes and businesses. This division included Water & Sewer Maintenance, the Rocky River Wastewater Treatment Plant, and the town’s Water Treatment Plants.

Water Rebate Program:

Any company that resides in the Town of Mooresville and consumes water through the Town over 100,000,000 gallons in a fiscal calendar year, July 1-June 30, may be eligible to receive a three percent rebate after meeting the threshold. Contact the MSIEDC for more information about this program.

Infrastructure Financing

SAD (Special Assessment District) Financing is a financing vehicle that can be used to fund project infrastructure.  SAD can be formed by a County, City or Town after receiving a petition from at least 66% of the property owners within the proposed SAD.  The SAD can issue tax exempt revenue bonds secured by assessments levied against benefiting property within the SAD.
